    Dyslexia Aids: Vision Tracking

    August 11th, 2010 by admin

As an optometrist, I highly recommend vision tracking (sometimes called vision training) for people, especially children, with dyslexia. It is, by far, one of the most tried and tested dyslexia aids there are today. The main purpose of vision tracking is improving the eyes’ movements. In effect, this enables the dyslexic patient to focus their vision, i.e. on the words of the book that they have to read. A lot of medical practitioners claim that there is no proof of the vision tracking to be effective on dyslexic patients. I strongly beg to differ. I have already helped a lot of my dyslexic patients with this recommendation.
