Couple Plan to Turn Money Pit Into Their Drean Home

My wife and I recently bought our dream home, or as our families call it, “The Money Pit’. The house received this nickname because it needs lots of work and it resembles the one in the movie. We will not let anything deter us from our goal of completely renovating this house and turning it into our home. Much of the woodwork is the original or so we found out when my wife stripped the old paint from it. She plans on restoring the moulding and staircases to their former glory. I want to replace the outdated wooden gutters and downspouts with solid copper rain gutters, or gutters that have a faux copper finish. They will look great on our house and keep with the Victorian style architecture.
