Millions or Thousands

I was pretty much happy with the way we had been doing inventory for years. In fact, I rather looked forward to it. My partner didn’t feel the same way I did. He kept insisting we needed to employ a firm to handle the fixed asset inventory for us. He said it would be cost effective and would save us millions of dollars. I protested that we didn’t even make millions of dollars. He laughed and said that we would save thousands. I agreed to the venture and we hired a company that put bar codes on everything and now they handle it all for us.
