I Sold Three Paintings

I am an artist who creates landscape portraits of scenic areas around the United States. I have been able to sell several paintings through my website and through word of mouth. Although I was pleased with the progress I had made I still felt that I could sell more paintings if more people knew about my work. An artist friend of mine suggested that I try press releases. She said that the press releases are distributed to news agencies across the country and will be picked up by local newspapers. After the first press release was distributed I had a local newspaper interview me for a story. The story appeared a week later and within a week I sold three paintings.
